Paula Galimberti

Paula studied acting in »Cristina Rota School« in Madrid for 4 years and has been performing as an actress since 1996. She started her own improv company »Jamming« 22 years ago and works there as an actor, director, improvisor and coach.
She completed her professional acting trainings with acting coaches Jordan Bayne and Ivana Chubbuck. In addition to theater she is also working for film and TV.
Her life and work is based in Madrid, but she travels a lot and practices all over the world in places like: Bogotá, Lima, Cuzco, Santiago de Chile, Lyon and Berlin.

Hila di Castro
Hila Di Castro is a professional actress, international improviser and teacher based in Israel. She is the artistic director of the international cast of »Pandora Improv Festival«, Italy.
Hila is the creator and director of the international improv show »Woman up!« – a show about how does it feel to be a woman on this planet. She is leading this project with the vision of creating a network of women’s groups performing the show worldwide.
For over 10 years, other than being the leading performer and teacher in Israel, Hila tours the world performing and teaching acting and improvisation. Everywhere she goes she is bringing her unique, inspiring personal style and improv philosophy.

Naomi Snieckus
Naomi Snieckus is an award-winning actor, comedian, writer and producer. She has toured across Europe, Canada and the US, teaching improv and performing with her company »The National Theatre of the World« and »Baram and Snieckus«.
TV/Film credits include: »Handmaids Tale«, »Mr. D«, »Pretty Hard Cases«, »Disney’s Zombies«. She is the founder of the hit podcast and artistic community: »Firecracker Department« which champions the voices of women and non-binary artists.
Naomi’s current TV projects include: »Detective Junior«, »Bagged« and the live show: »Big Stuff«, co-created with her partner Matt Baram.

Lee White
Lee White is an actor, most known for his work with improvisation, comedy and stand-up, but also in film, television and as a voice-over artist.
Originally from Winnipeg Canada, now based in Berlin, he became an acclaimed improviser for being part of the famous improv duo »CRUMBS«. Lee White has been performing and teaching improv since the early 90’s. Touring with shows and workshops all over Europe, Asia and North America for over 20 years, his unique philosophy of improv has made him welcomed everywhere he goes.
Since he moved to Berlin, Lee has been teaching improv classes at »Die Gorillas Improv School«. He performs regularly at »Impro Embassy« at the »Ratibor Theater« as well as »The Comedy Cafe Berlin«, the »BühnenRausch«, the »Brotfabrik«, and many more.

Raschid Daniel Sidgi
Raschid Daniel Sidgi was born in Weimar. First he wanted to become an adventurer, later a soccer player, then a rockstar. After school he started working in a theatre and a new passion arose.
A few years of education later, he graduated as an actor in Leipzig. He was employed in several theatre ensembles and since 2007 he works as a freelancer. Now he is an actor, musician, vocalist, director, daddy, creator of chaos, author, guru, student, dance floor smasher and poetic peace brother.
Raschid is doing improv on stage for about 20 years now. He plays shows, gives workshops and never stops learning. He is co-founder of the »TheaterTurbine« and co-organizer of the international improv festival »Momenta« in Leipzig.

Chris Mead

Chris Mead is a renowned improv director, performer and teacher from the UK. He is a senior teacher at »Hoopla«, London’s largest improv school, where his classes regularly sell out months in advance.
He is also the founder of »The Pretend Company« which teaches theatrical improv and stage craft to both, improvisers and actors. Internationally, he is one of the European circuits most in demand practitioners – visiting festivals in over 25 countries to teach, coach and perform.
He wants improv to be evermore compassionate, theatrical, playful and fun. He is known for his thoughtful teaching, joyful stage presence and absolute commitment to pushing the art form forward.

Małgorzata (Gosia) Różalska
Małgorzata Różalska – Gosia- is an improviser and director based in Poland. She’s been doing improv for 20 years, so far in 20 countries.
She graduated Film Directing, she does stand-up comedy and hosts the podcast »Kreatura«.
Her therapist says if people have two wolves inside them, she has a whole pack.

Bala V

Balasree (Bala) Viswanathan is a southern Indian artist and improviser. She has been performing since 2016 and co-founded India’s first all-women improv group »The Adamant Eves«.
Her art is influenced by her traditional Indian actor’s training, Indian mythology and interest in the human psyche, creating a distinct cultural blend.
With experience in teaching and performing across the US, Europe and Southeast Asia, she offers a perspective that combines high-energy exploration with thoughtful reflection. She encourages her students to challenge themselves while developing their unique voices.

Gael Doorneweerd Perry
Gael is the co-founder of the theatre companies »Flock Theatre«, »Anananas & Pampamplemousse«, the »SIN« (an international network of improvisers) and »Safe Play«, a community working towards a safer improv field.
He just handed over the artistic direction of the festival »IMPRO Amsterdam«, is the artistic director of »Improfestival Karlsruhe« and the »Flock Festival« in Amsterdam. In short: he creates a bunch of stuff!
Gael loves to teach, perform and produce unscripted theatre here and there. While traveling, he found a thousand ways to improvise. These result in his unique style: both physical and noisy, kind and silly, full of emotions and slightly crazy.

Ursula Anna Baumgartner

Born in Austria, Ursula trained professionally as an actress and a musical performer. After landing a series of roles in major musicals all over Germany, she moved back to her home country, where she is now an active member of the theatre and improv scene.
Amongst other things Ursula founded the ensemble »Salon Spontan«, to bring fully improvised musicals to the stage and explores physical improv alongside her duo partner Anne Rab as »Bemme & Melange«.
When Ursula isn’t making things up as she goes along, she might be found in a studio working as a voice actress, or on tour with her duo »Baumgärtner«, exploring parallels between humans and trees via original songs and scenes.

Barbara Klehr
Barbara trained in acting, singing and dance at the »Berlin School for Stage Arts«. She came to improvisational theater through colleagues. Together they founded »Die Gorillas« in 1997 and since then improv has been an essential part of her professional life.
Besides her work with the Gorilla ensemble, she has always been involved in other projects, such as training in music therapy, touring theater and being the singer in a band…
She is on stage a lot, teaches improv at »Die Gorillas Improv School« with a focus on improv songs and also works with improv methods in therapeutic contexts.

Leon Düvel

Born in Berlin in 1964, Leon has been performing improvisational theater since 1995. He studied acting and performed comedy and music theater for children. Like Barbara he is one of the founding members of »Die Gorillas«.
Besides improvising since 1997, he regularly performs on stage as a show host, passes on his experience as a teacher for improv theater, gives business-trainings using improv techniques. He still lives in Berlin.

Robert Munzinger
Robert Munzinger was born in the southwest of Germany many years ago… As he didn´t want to go to the military service, he flew to Berlin in the early 80´s. He pretended to go to University, but actually became a drummer, then a keyboarder, then an actor.
In 1997 he fell in love with improv theater, founded »Die Gorillas« together with a bunch of other curious, playful and really lovable people.

Felix Raffel

Felix Raffel, born 1983 in Germany, has studied Film Music and Classical Piano. He gained international recognition by winning numerous prizes and awards both as a composer and pianist.
His film music works were presented at A-festivals such as »Cannes«, »Berlinale«, »Moscow«, »Shanghai« and on various TV channels. He performed in renowned concert halls all over the world as a soloist as well as an accompanist.
For Felix, improv is a perfect way to combine his two passions, writing film music and playing the piano: precisely adding musical atmospheres, songs and moods to scenes, played live on the piano or synthesizer. Felix is frequently playing in various formats at the »Ratibor Theater« and is a member of »Die Gorillas« since 2010.

Beatrix Brunschko

Beatrix Brunschko is an actress, direcor and improvisor at »Theater im Bahnhof« in Graz/Austria since 1989.
In 2022 she became Professor for Drama and Improvisation at the »Theaterakademie Hamburg« where she currently lives.
She teaches Improv all over the Globe and co-founded the feminist improv collective »Mary Shelley’s Mothers«.
Together with her husband Jacob Banigan she forms the Duo »Series Junkies«. They bingeprovise Mystery Crime Series in long theatre nights.
She appears as an actress in Austrian movie and TV Productions and received the »Best Actress Award« at the »Europe Film Festival U.K. 2023«.

Rod Ben Zeev
Rod has spent 15 years performing, directing, and teaching improv on five continents and in four languages, with a focus on being fully present in every scene.
His favorite memories include performing at the »Chicago Improv Festival« with »The Second City« and three ladies over 90, dressing as Santa Claus in Vienna with »The English Lovers«, and doing a fully Turkish show with »Istanbul Impro«—without speaking Turkish.
Rod’s passion lies in the magic of creating in the moment and helping others embrace the joy of spontaneity.

Konstanze Kromer

Konstanze Kromer was born in Freiburg in Germany, moved to Berlin in 1996 and finished her Actress-Studies in 2003.
Since then she has been improvising in different groups, now as a constant Guest at »Die Gorillas« and since 2020 with her own Group »CHAOS ROYAL!«. To be found, every Monday at the BKA-Theater in Kreuzberg.
She also sings and acts at »Atze Musiktheater« since 2008 in different theatre plays. She travels around Germany with the solo-comedy-play »Cavewoman«.
Besides all that, there were and still are a lot of of other projects, one of them being the »Lauratibor-Kollektiv«…
She loves to sing, no matter what!

Uwe Matschke
Uwe Matschke is a professional pianist and keyboard-player deeply rooted in the improv scene of Berlin for more than 20 years.
Even after such a long time his excitement about improvisation and theater is still growing.
He is working with different groups like »Die Gorillas«, »Theatersport Berlin«, »Improberlin« and many more.
Since 2020 he is a fix member of »Chaos Royal«. He also accompanies different jazz and chanson singers.

Christopher Noodt
Impro-theatre is jazz for actors. For Christopher Noodt, it’s the best of both worlds.
Where music and theatre meet and genres are mixed, the pianist and composer has always felt at home, from the »Maxim Gorki Theatre« to cabaret stages, with the »Ohrbooten« or »Mark Forster«.
Music is and remains the one moment that can never be preserved. Just like impro-theatre.

Noah Telson

Noah is a German American comedian/ actor/ improviser. He is a founding member of »GLB«, Berlin’s premier longform improv team and was a member of »ComedySportz Berlin« for 8 years.
In 2015, he opened »Comedy Café Berlin«, the city’s first international alternative comedy stage and improv school, an effort which has afforded him the title of
“ye generous shepherd of improv teachers” by Will Hines himself.
You can see him performing improv with »GLB«, »Action Jackson«, »Night Lunch« and among other shows. He currently teaches and co-directs at »The CCB Training School«.
